Disasters in Slow Motion (pt. 35) - Oct 20, 2021

Let's take a look back to a year ago and compare it to where we are. October 20, 2021 (13:59 GMT) - Actual Numbers vs.  October 15, 2020 (16:08 GMT) Worldwide Cases: 242,492,476 (+203,556,909) Worldwide Deaths: 4,931,804 (+3,832,357) Worldwide Mortality Rate: 2.03% (-0.79%) Worldwide Mortality Rate (without US): 2.85% (-0.10%) US Cases: 45,996,507 (+37,827,509) US Deaths: 748,652 (+526,490) US Mortality Rate: 1.63% (-1.09%) US Total Recovered: 35,710,331 (+30,419,821) US Total Recovered (including Deaths): 36,458,983 (+30,946,311) Yeah, that doesn't look all that great. The past year has been amazingly worse than the first year of the pandemic. While people are pretending that it is "over", it continues to gain speed and kill more and more people. But, you know, "Free-dumb".

Disasters in Slow Motion: Today's Covid Information (10/20/2021 13:31 GMT)

The death cult is still going strong. The TSA is about to lose 1/4 of its workforce to people refusing to get immunized against Covid, and the US military is going to take a hit as well. You know what? Fuck those people. Let them die. I'm tired of sympathy for assholes who refuse to be immunized to help bring this to an end. Three quarters of a million Americans are dead and much of it can be laid at the feet of the anti-vax assholes whose sense of self-entitlement has doomed so many. Fuck the Antivaxxers, let them die quickly, and without taking anyone else with them. Here are the latest numbers in this self-inflicted horror show. United States - Population: 331,022,651 - Cases: 45,996,507 - Infected: 1 in 7 Deaths: 748,652 - Death Rate: 1 in 442 - Mortality Rate: 1.63% - Active Cases: 9,537,524 Active: 1 in 35   Alabama - Population: 4,908,620 - Cases: 815,324 - Infected: 1 in 6 Deaths: 15,263 - Death Rate: 1 in 322 - Mortality Rate: 1.87% - Active Cases: Not Available Al...

Remembering 9/11 during a time of Global pandemic

Twenty years....it seems impossible that it has been twenty years since the towers fell and the world changed forever. There are people in college born after that world-changing event, that never experienced what (for us) was the world as normal. We have been at war for twenty years because of those attacks. Those visceral, gut-wrenching attacks, that we watched play out on live television. 2,996 people died that day.   We united. We stood. The sleeping giant was awakened.   In the US, 1,761 people died of Covid yesterday. 677,017 Americans have died since the outbreak.   We are fractured. We whine. We cannot be bothered.   I guess, if people dying on ventilators were televised, maybe more of the average Americans would give a damn. 54% vaccinated....   Meanwhile, here in Florida, 1 in every 21 Floridians CURRENTLY has Covid and our governor takes PRIDE in how "open" our state it. We are dying down here. Children are dying down here...but he's still attac...
